Akeem George has been awarded the York College Male Athlete of the Month for his stellar performances during the month of March 2018. George appeared in all 12 matches during the month of March, making starts in 11 of them.  During March, George averaged 1.27 kills per set and 0.70 blocks per set. George is in sixth place in the CUNYAC standing for blocks. George also became 5th all time in blocks at York College with 194 total blocks for his career.    

 

On March 27th, 2018, George had the best game of the month when he had 5 blocks and 5 kills for the Cardinals on Senior Night against John Jay College.
