Che'Rel Haywood was named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week for meets held October 28 to November 3 for York's first weekly honor since the 2012-13 season.  Haywood debuted Nov. 1 at Baruch College with a CUNYAC victory in the 100-meter breaststroke by a margin of 25.39 to finish the race in 1:30.48.  She also was awarded CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors for meets on November 18-24, when she paced York with 66 points at the SUNY Delhi Invitational (Nov. 23).  Haywood then set a pair of York's season-best times with second-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (27.41) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:17.21) races at tge SUNY Delhi Invitational.
