York College's men's and women's track & field teams returned to action Saturday afternoon at the Vassar College Spring Invite from Weinberg Track in Poughkeepsie, New York
Men's Performance Breakdown
- Tahkwai Wilson-Hill tallied a pair of top-30 results, crossing the finish line of the 100-meter dash at 12.41 (28th), and placing 22nd in the 200-meter event (26.61, 22nd).
- Hammed Durojaye ran the 800-meter race in 2:45.68 (34th).Â
- Brandon Smith set a career-high mark in the discus toss at 20.81 meters (21st).
Women's Performance Breakdown
- Keanna Clouden paced the squad in the 100-meter race at 15.57 (22nd). Ndieye Sagna (15.86, 25th) and Bianca Burgin (16.70, 27th) kept a close pace with Clouden. Jordeena Jervis (18.88, 31st), Jordanna Jervis (19.49, 32nd), and Stara Delphonse (20.14, 33rd) rounded out the Cardinal rotation.Â
- Clouden and Sagna also raced close in the 200-meters, finishing 11th (32.71) and 12th (33.84), respectively.
- The quartet of Clouden, Burgin, Sagna, and Rebecca McKenzie placed fourth in the 4x100-meter relay with a result of 1:01.89.
- Transitioning to the field events, McKenzie soared 3.48 meters in the long jump (21st).
- Both Jordanna (5.22 meters, 26th) and Jordeena (4.89 meters, 27th) set career-high pushes in the shot put competition. Cecilia Prince (4.63 meters, 28th) and Kristel Campbell (3.75 meters, 29th) followed.
