EAST STROUDSBURG, PA--- (
www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's indoor track & field turned in a solid performance at the DeSchriver Invitational, hosted by East Stroudsburg University inside Koehler Fieldhouse. The Cardinals combined for eight top-10 finishes on the day, highlighted by strong efforts across the sprint and distance events.
Men's Performance Breakdown
- Michael Zhang led the way for the men's squad, delivering the team's top result of the meet, placing third in the mile with a time of 5:25.47.
- Tahkwai Wilson-Hill posted team-best performances in the sprints, clocking a 7.12 in the 55-meter prelims (15th) and followed with a 25.90 in the 200 meters (14th).
- Wilkens Guervil finished just behind Wilson-Hill in the 200 meters at 26.27 (16th), and made his collegiate debut in the 400 meters, where he placed sixth in 58.99.
- Bryan Ortiz competed in both the 200-meter dash (27.36, 17th) and the 400 meters (1:00.63, 8th).
Women's Performance Breakdown
- Keanna Clouden paced the Cardinal women with a pair of top-six finishes, placing sixth in the 200 meters (32.76) and fifth in the 400 meters (1:21.62).
- Making her indoor debut, Jaida Hill recorded two top-eight performances, finishing eighth in the 200 meters (38.06) and sixth in the 400 meters (1:38.86).
- Nichole Lewis led York in the 55-meter prelims with a 10th-place finish (9.77) and added a ninth-place result in the 200-meter dash (38.56).
- Jordanna Jervis rounded out the sprint group, placing 11th in the 55-meter prelims (10.37).

The Cardinals lace up next Saturday (Feb. 14) with the NYU DIII Invitational starting at 9 a.m. inside The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory.
