Malakai Clark was tabbed to the eight-member 2025-26 CUNYAC Men's Basketball Preseason Player to Watch list, announced Thursday by the league office.
A two-year contributor to the program, Clark played in 23 games last season, logging 479 minutes and scoring in double figures on four occasions. In a home battle against Hunter College (Jan. 24), the forward produced his first-career double-double, netting fourteen 14 and gathering 14 rebounds.
In the preseason poll, York is tied for seventh place with Medgar Evers College.

Lehman College's 45 points narrowly edged out John Jay College's 44, and both squads received four first-place nods. On the other hand, the Cardinals accumulated eleven points.
The Cardinals' 14-game conference schedule starts December 5 with a road contest at Medgar Evers College.
The 2026 CUNYAC Championship will take place on February 21 (first round), February 24 (semifinals), and February 26 (finals), with the league champion receiving an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
York kickstarts its campaign Saturday (Nov. 10) with a non-conference matchup against the Saint Elizabeth University Eagles starting at 1 p.m. from Saint Joseph Hall in Morristown, New Jersey.
