FLUSHING, NY--- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College junior Glenver Stuart has been recognized by the CUNYAC as a member of the 2023-24 Men's Indoor Track & Field Sportsmanship Team, announced Friday by league officials.  Since 2017-18, York has placed six members on the Sportsmanship Team. 

Competing in a squad-best seven meets this campaign, Stuart set personal records in the 300-meter (39.98), 600-meter (1:34.14), and 1000-meter (2:55.46) events. Consistently finishing as the top Cardinal competitor, the Queens native starred in the 2024 CUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, claiming six points in the 800-meter dash (2:11.57) and four points in the 400-meter race (55.08). Those times were both season-highs, and landed him sixth and seventh on the 2024 CUNYAC Indoor Performance List, respectively.  

Stuart adds his third track & field laurel to his collection, as he garnered an All-Star and Sportsmanship Team appearance during the 2023 outdoor campaign.
