FLUSHING, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College senior Jemery Sapeg has been recognized by the CUNYAC as a member of the 2023-24 Men's Swimming Sportsmanship Team, announced Wednesday by league officials. This award is Sapeg's second-career CUNYAC laurel, as he claimed the Sportsmanship Award in the 2019-20 campaign.

Returning to the pool for the first time since 2020, Sapeg competed in all eight meets, improving all season. In the CUNYAC Championships, he finished with a season-high time in the 50-yard freestyle (34.5) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:23.75).
