NEW YORK --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball senior guard Devine Chisholm was announced Tuesday as a Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Divisions II-III Weekly Honorable Mention selection for games played February 13-19. This recognition gives York its seventh MBWA weekly award in 2022-23. 

Chisholm averaged 25.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 51.5 percent (17-of-33) from the floor, 42.9 percent (6-of-14) from 3-point territory and 90.9 percent (10-of-11) from the free-throw line last week for the Cardinals.  He poured in a career-high 29 points (9-of-17 FG, 4-of-8 3FG, 7-of-7 FT) in a 91-89 road defeat at Brooklyn College (Feb. 14) in the regular-season finale. Helping the Cardinals level the score at 89 after trailing by as many as 19, Chisholm scored 26 of the team's 50 points in the second stanza. In a 93-81 CUNYAC Championship first-round loss against Hunter College (Feb. 18), Chisholm paced the Cardinals with 21 points (8-of-16, 2-of-6 3FG, 3-of-4 FT) and tallied six rebounds, four assists and one steal in the final game of his career. 

In 26 games, the Brooklyn native averaged 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 33.5 minutes per game while shooting 33.5 percent (91-of-254) from the field, 32.9 percent (46-of-140) from deep and 72.2 percent (65-of-90) from the charity stripe. 

Per the latest NCAA Division III Statistical Rankings Summary, Chisholm is tied for 69th with a 1.98 assist/turnover ratio. In the CUNYAC, Chisholm ranks second in assist/turnover ratio and is among the top performers in assists per game (6th), minutes per game (7th), free throw percentage (9th), and points per game (16th).
