www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball produced five double-digit scorers Friday evening but were unable to hold off the visiting Hunter College Hawks (9-15, 6-8 CUNYAC) 94-88 in a CUNYAC matchup on Alumni Appreciation / Senior Night inside York College Gymnasium. The Cardinals split the season series with Hunter, outpacing the Hawks 121-115 in a road matchup in January.

How it Happened
- Level at 12, Hunter utilized a 12-2 burst to lead by 10 (24-14) at the 9:35 mark of the first half.
- The Hawks maintained their 10-point cushion (30-20) when Ryan Lau sank a floater with 5:55 showing on the clock.
- Down 33-24, York closed on a 12-2 run in the final 3:44 to bring a 36-35 edge to intermission.
- A sizzling second-half start pushed York's lead to 10 (56-46).
- Hunter knotted the game up at 58 with 12:09 remaining following a 12-2 spurt.
- Trailing 71-70, the Hawks scored nine of the following 12 points, taking a commanding 82-73 advantage with 4:49 showing on the clock.
- York trimmed the deficit to five on two occasions, but were unable to make it a one possession contest.
- Chisholm's three free-throws with 13 seconds remaining in the game made it 92-88, the closest the Cardinals got in the final five minutes.
- Casey Meyers sank two freebies with 12 seconds left to secure a 94-88 victory for Hunter.

Olawale Kila had another great game for the Cardinals, finishing with 19 points (8-of-14 FG, 3-of-3 FT), eight boards, and two steals. Chisholm showed out on Senior Night, netting 18 points (6-of-9 FG, 6-of-7 FT), grabbing 10 boards, and dishing out nine dimes, all season-highs.
Terrell Fullerton added 16 points (5-of-13 FG, 3-of-4 3FG, 3-of-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Price chipped in with 10 points (4-of-10 FG, 2-of-6 FT), eight boards, seven assists, and three steals.
Micaiah Goosby dropped 10 points (5-of-8 FG). Tyres Desnior netted eight points (3-of-10 FG, 2-of-3 FG) and eight boards off the bench.
Lau paced Hunter with 18 points (6-of-12 FG, 3-of-7 3FG, 3-of-4 FT) and four steals. Luka Jakic feasted inside, scoring 16 points (6-of-13 FG, 2-of-4 3FG, 2-of-4 FG), gathering 15 boards, dishing out five dimes, and blocking two shots. Meyers totaled 14 points (3-of-8 3FG, 3-of-4 FT) and three steals. Jeremy Montrose tallied 12 points (3-of-7 FG, 5-of-7 FT) and four rebounds.
The Cardinals made 45.3 percent (34-of-75) of their shots, connecting on 21.4 percent (3-of-14) of their triples and only 58.6 percent (17-of-29) of their free throws. Meanwhile, Hunter landed 37.6 percent (32-of-85) from the floor, 31 percent (13-of-42) from downtown, and 58.6 percent (17-of-29) from the free-throw line. The Cardinals held a slight edge in rebounds (49-47) but lost the assist battle (23-22). Turnovers were key, as Hunter converted 28 takeaways into 24 points, while York scored 20 points from 21 Hawk miscues. Hunter owned the edge in bench scoring (25-15) as York had more second-chance points (16-12), fast break points (37-27), and points in the paint (60-32).
