www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball improved to 2-1 in the CUNYAC standings after picking up an 81-73 road win Friday against the John Jay College Bloodhounds (2-12, 1-2 CUNYAC) inside The Doghouse.

How it Happened
- Isaac Holmes drained a triple for John Jay at the 12:16 mark to knot the score at 16.
- York went on a 9-2 run to take a seven-point lead (25-18).
- The Bloodhounds responded with an 11-1 scoring spree to lead 29-26 with 3:28 remaining in the first half.
- Down 31-28, the Cardinals closed on a 7-1 surge to end the stanza as Micaiah Goosby's tough jumper with 14 seconds showing on the clock ended the scoring.
- John Jay utilized a 6-0 spurt to overturn a 53-49 deficit into a 55-53 lead.
- The Cardinals responded with a 5-0 run capped off by Devine Chisholm's three at the 8:27 mark.
- Jordan Evelyn hit two layups to give John Jay leads of 62-61 and 64-63.
- Behind 64-63, Terrell Fullerton engineered an 11-2 run for York, topped by a 3-point play with 1:48 remaining in the stanza.
- Ahead 75-68, the Cardinals converted six clutch free throws in the final 1:48 to seal the victory.
- Overall, the game featured nine ties and 14 lead changes.

Fullerton led all scorers with 22 points (8-of-19 FG, 6-of-11 FT) to pace York to victory. He added nine assists and six steals to his stat line in 40 minutes of action.

Goosby was a dominant force in the front court, totaling 21 points (8-of-17 FG, 5-of-6 FT), 16 rebounds (six offensive), two blocks, and two steals.

Devine Chisholm netted 15 points (3-of -7 3FG, 4-of-4 FT) to go along with three assists and two steals.
Olawale Kila chipped in 14 rebounds (six offensive) and seven points.
Holmes led John Jay with 21 points (6-of-16 FG, 4-of-11 3FG, 5-of-6 FT) to go along with seven rebounds. Jayson Delgado added 20 points (6-of-13 FG, 4-of-6 3FG, 4-of-6 FT) and totaled a team-best three steals. Jordan chipped in an efficient 16 points (4-of-5 from FG, 8-of-11 FT). Garrison Watkins scored ten points (5-of-9 FG), hauled in a team-high nine boards, and had a team-leading two blocks.
York shot 39.1 percent (27-of-69) from the field, 31.6 percent (6-of-19) from 3-point range, and sank a season-high 21 free throws (21-of-29). Meanwhile, John Jay connected on 43.4 percent (23-of-53) from the floor, 33.3 percent (8-of-24) from downtown, and converted 19 free throws (19-of-25).
The Cardinals won the rebound battle (44-36), specifically having a 15-5 edge on the offensive glass. York's paint presence led to a 32-20 advantage in points in the paint. Points off turnovers played a role in the outcome. York converted 18 Bloodhound miscues into 23 points, while John Jay only mustered seven points off 11 Cardinals giveaways. As both schools each had 15 assists, York had double the amount of steals (12-6) as John Jay.
