www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball won their second-consecutive CUNYAC game on Friday night, claiming an 88-70 home victory against the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (3-14, 1-6 CUNYAC).
How it Happened
- Down 12-10, York utilized a 13-2 run to take a nine-point advantage (23-14).
- Brooklyn cut a twelve-point deficit (30-18) to seven (30-23) at the 2:06 mark.
- A pair of triples by William Brown keyed a 10-0 spurt for the Cardinals to end the half up 17 (40-23).
- Terrell Fullerton's 3-pointer 1:39 into second-half play pushed York's lead to a game-high 24 (49-25).
- The Bulldogs went on a spirited 22-6 burst to cut York's margin to eight (55-47).
- Leading 60-51, the Cardinals closed out the game on a 28-19 stretch to win by 18.
- The closest Brooklyn got within the final five minutes was 12 after Kayin Olajide's three with 4:41 remaining.

A balanced scoring effort produced four Cardinals with at least 14 points. Fullerton led the team with 21 points (9-of-19 FG) to go along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Micaiah Goosby scored 17 (6-of-9 FG, 3-of-3 3FG) and grabbed five rebounds.
Olawale Kila added 15 points (5-of-12 FG, 5-of-6 FT), three steals, and hauled in a career-high 19 boards to post his fifth double-double of the season. Off the bench, Brown recorded 14 points (4-of-7 3PT), six rebounds, and two blocks.
Matthew Trepeta dished out seven dimes to only one turnover.

Elisha Park led all scorers with 23 points (6-of-12, 4-of-7 3FG, 7-of-8 FT). He also had six rebounds and a team-best two steals. David McFadden added 11 points (4-of-13 FG, 2-of-5 3FG) and grabbed a team-high eight boards. Serge Traysbule chipped in with 10 points (4-of-9 FG) and a block. Harvey Zuric recorded a team-best five assists and a pristine zero turnovers.
The Cardinals shot 44.7 percent (34-of-76) from the field, 37.5 percent (9-of-24) from beyond the arc, and 57.9 percent (11-of-19) from the free throw line. Brooklyn shot 37.9 percent (22-of-58) from the floor, 30.8 percent (8-of-26) from downtown, and 69.2 percent (18-of-26) percent from the charity stripe.
York grasped control of the rebound (47-35) and assist (21-15) battles. Additionally, the Cardinals committed only 10 turnovers to Brooklyn's 15. York manufactured a season-best assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1:1). The Cardinals also came out on top in the hustle stats, winning 21-15 in points off turnovers, 23-8 in second-chance points, and 17-14 in fast-break scoring. Feasting inside, York dominated the points in the paint category (46-23).
