www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball scored four players in double-digits Wednesday evening but were unable to keep up with the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles (3-1), falling 95-64 in a non-conference home fixture inside York College Gymnasium.

How it Happened
- York flew out of the gates with a 6-0 advantage as Terrell Fullerton, Matthew Smiley and Matthew Trepeta combined for the early edge.
- Down 12-6, SUNY Brockport went on a 30-5 spurt to go up 36-17 with 6:33 left in the first half.
- Austinson Cooke's layup at 3:44 capped off a 9-1 Cardinal run, cutting the deficit to 11 (37-26).
- Both teams traded baskets the rest of the opening stanza as Fullerton's two free throws with 1:02 showing on the clock ended the scoring at 43-30.
- Leading 55-42, the Golden Eagles scored seven-unanswered points to push their advantage to 20 (62-42).
- The Cardinals responded with a quick 6-0 run over the next 1:05.
- Brockport pulled away with a 17-7 burst, making the game 79-55 with 5:11 remaining in the game.
- Zachary Rice's triple for Brockport with 0:39 on the clock ended the scoring.
- The Golden Eagles outpaced York 16-9 in the final minutes.
Inside the Box Score
Fullerton led York in scoring for the seventh-consecutive game, chipping in 18 points (10-10 FT). The junior guard also had a team-high seven assists and recorded three steals.
Olawale Kila reached double-figures for the fifth-straight game, scoring 11 points. Trepeta and
Devine Chisholm each generated 10 points. Smiley had team-highs in rebounds (7) and blocks (2), while
Mert Zor equaled Fullerton's tally of three steals to pace York.
For Brockport, Mekhi Beckett had a game-best 22 points (9-19 FG). Point guard Tony Arnold controlled the show, adding 21 points (8-9 FG), seven rebounds, and producing a game-high eight assists and four steals. David Grady and Tyler Cowie both record double-doubles. Grady scored 11 points, hauled in 11 boards, and blocked a game-best six shots. Cowie chipped in with 11 points (3-6 3PT) and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles' shooting was the story of the evening. They made 48 percent of their shots (34-71) and cashed in 41 percent (11-27) of their triples. Meanwhile, the Cardinals shot 36 percent (24-66) percent from the field and 19 percent (4-21) from downtown.
Brockport also controlled the paint, outrebounding York 45-29, producing a 46-36 edge in points in the paint, and leading the second-chance points category by +10 (19-9). The Golden Eagles also won the turnover battle, scoring more points off turnovers (31-15) and fast-break opportunities (33-21).
Despite the loss, coach Gist remains full of confidence:
"We have a big conference game coming up next Friday and we look forward to showing Medgar what we are really made of."
