FLUSHING, NY -- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's cross country sophomore Glenver Stuart has been recognized by the the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) for the first time in his career as a Sportsmanship Team selection, announced Thursday by league officials in their release of its 2022 season-end awards.

Hailing from Jamaica, Queens, Stuart is York's fourth CUNYAC Sportsmanship selection in as many seasons.  Stuart ran in his second-career CUNYAC cross country championship on October 30, finishing 34th overall in 37:08.6 on the 8K course at Van Cortlandt Park.  

"Glenver puts effort not only into being a better competitor, but also into making sure that his teammates are as well.  As an aspiring leader as Glenver is, he makes sure that everyone around him is good. He encourages his teammates, cheers them on and makes sure that everyone is doing their best, including himself.
