www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's outdoor track & field combined to medal in 10 events Sunday at the 2019 CUNYAC Championships from Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island.  The Cardinal men placed fourth overall with 55 points while the York women finished sixth by scoring 41 points. CCNY and Lehman shared the 2019 men's championship as Hunter captured the title on the women's side. At the conclusion of the meet, seniors

Malik Campbell were honored with the annual Senior Day Ceremony for their dedication to York College Athletics. Â

Andrew George,
Keshawn Ross,
Rojhn Miller combined to win the 4x100 championship with a season-best time of 45.53. Â The quartet followed with a second-place showing in the 4x400 in 3:47.38.
Dammon Trimmingham, who won the indoor shot put championship, completed the season sweep with a throw of 11.16 meters to capture the outdoor title. Â
Miller ran the 100 meter race in 11.83 to finish second and added a third-place finish in the 200 meter event in 24.31.
Philton Paul launched the javelin 33.72 meter to place third while Trimmingham followed in fourth (31.52 meters).
Kalice Hitchman led the Cardinal women with a pair of third-place finishes in the shot put (9.61 meters) and javelin (25.49 meters). Â She crossed the finish line fourth in the 100 meter race in 13.80 after
Destiny Scott registered a third-place time of 13.74.
Ellma Hodzic clocked a program-best time of 14:16.45 to post third place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
Scott teamed up with
Isis Funez,
Geraldine Guese and
Emely Cuevas to race to fourth place in the 4x400 in 4:57.24.
