FLUSHING, NY --- (

Devine Chisholm was recognized as the CUNYAC Player of the Week for games played November 8-10, announced Monday by league officials. He became the program's first CUNYAC Player of the Year selection since
Darin Dove took home the honor for the December 10-16, 2018 reporting period.
Chisholm, a native of Brooklyn, scored 11 of his 17 points during the second half during York's season opener against St. Joseph's College (L.I.). He logged 36 minutes (2nd highest total in career) and added seven rebounds and four assists (zero turnovers) to his statline.
Last year, Chisholm was cited as the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week on three separate occasions enroute to garnering the program's first CUNYAC Rookie of the Year distinction since Omari Phipps in 2007-08.
"Devine came in ready to build on his Rookie of the Year campaign," said York head coach
Nolan Adams. "I am excited for Devine as he worked hard all summer to improve. He has been a great leader and is willing to do whatever it takes to help us get on a winning track."
