JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College women's volleyball home opener was a disappointing one, as the Cardinals fell to Mt. St. Mary College, 3-0.
Mt. St. Mary controlled the match from start to finish, recording 27 kills and hitting .375 on the evening. They also served up 21 aces in the match.
The home fans did not have much to cheer about in this one.

Allison Ahmed each had three kills to lead the Cardinals.
Mt. St. Mary improves to 3-11, while York drops to 0-7. The Cardinals host Brooklyn College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
