JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College men's tennis team lost to St. Joseph's College (Long Island), 9-0, in its second-to-last match of the season Wednesday.
The Eagles of St. Joseph's controlled most of the matches on an unseasonably cold day. They did not drop a game in doubles play.
In singles play, York's closest match was at #1 singles, where
Vimal Ramnarain lost 6-4, 6-3.
York is now 0-12, while St. Joseph's is 1-4. The Cardinals close out the season on Sunday with a home match vs. Albertus Magnus College at 1:00 p.m.
