Firdaus Abdulai has been acknowledged by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) as the recipient of the 2026 CUNYAC Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Award. This distinction marks Abdulai's first career CUNYAC honor, while the Cardinals have now captured three of the last four CUNYAC Sportsmanship Awards.
A four-year contributor for the Cardinals, Abdulai has steadily moved up in York's ranks, playing two singles matches on the No. 3 court this season. For his career, the Bronx native competed in 25 singles contests and 23 doubles matchups, claiming an individual victory on four occasions.Â
