JAMAICA, N.Y.—SUNY Old Westbury put up an impressive offensive display en route to defeating the York College women's basketball team, 95-44, on Friday night.
 
Old Westbury shot 47.4 percent from the field and had five players score in double figures.  They also forced 35 turnovers which they converted into 31 points.
 
Charlotte Renker led the way with 14 points, four blocks, three steals and six rebounds.  Monique Joseph had 13 points and six steals.
 
Old Westbury led from the start and continually expanded its lead throughout the game.  The Cardinals were once again short-handed for the second straight game and the results showed on the scoreboard.
 
Leading York in defeat was Sheahna Roscher, who had nine points and eight rebounds. Giovana Rosado added eight points.
 
The loss drops York's record to 3-7, while Old Westbury improves to 9-0.  The Cardinals will return to action a week from tonight when they host Lehman College at 5:30 p.m.
