York Swimming Falls on the Road to Brooklyn College

BROOKLYN, NY- The York men's and women's swimming teams were on the road Tuesday night as they visited CUNYAC opponent Brooklyn College. The men fell 96-92, while the women were defeated 91-73.
 
In the loss, Mariela Rosario led the Cardinals, placing second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 3:05.08, while Nicole Ovelheira finished third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 48.46.
 
For the men, Justice McCain placed second in 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 13:05.52, which topped his career-best of 13:29.83 that was set last year.
 
The men now hold an 0-2-1, 0-1 CUNYAC record, while the women fall to 0-4. 0-2 CUNYAC. The teams will be in action again on Friday, November 10th as they host the College at Old Westbury. The meet is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
