Women’s Volleyball Loses at Home to St. Joseph’s- Brooklyn

JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College women's volleyball team lost at home to St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn by a score of 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-13) on Friday night.
 
Despite the loss, York's Allison Ahmed had a solid game with 14 digs, two aces and seven assists. Allison Li chipped in seven digs and four kills and Kassandra Diaz added 14 digs.
 
St. Joseph's was led by Nina DiCioccio, who had ten kills and ten digs.
 
York was done in by too many errors on the evening, committing 25 hitting errors for a hitting percentage of -.118.
 
With the loss, York is now 2-19. St. Joseph's improves to 5-5. York will host Lehman College on October 19.
