Swimming Comes up Short Versus Brooklyn College

JAMAICA, N.Y.— The York College men's and women's swimming teams each fell to conference-rival Brooklyn College on Friday evening. The men fell by a score of 97-50, while the women lost 79-62.

Alexandra Castro led York with a first-place finish in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:41.18.

Both teams now stand at 0-4 with the loss. York will return to action on Friday, December 7 with a double dual meet against Mount Saint Mary College and Drew University which will be held at Mount Saint Mary at 6:30 p.m.
