Men’s and Women’s Swimming Drop Conference Meet To Baruch

NEW YORK, N.Y— The York College men's and women's swim teams each fell to Baruch College in a conference meet on Monday evening.  The women lost 100-55, while the men lost 96-61. 
 
Sandra Shamburger was once again the bright spot for York.  She won the 50-meter freestyle in a time of 30.82, just edging out Baruch's Sally Lim, who finished in 30.98.  
 
Both teams drop to 0-3, 0-1 in the CUNYAC with the loss.  The Cardinals will return to action on Friday, November 30 when they host Brooklyn College at 6:00 p.m.
