Swim Teams Fall to Baruch College
JAMAICA, NY— The York College men's and women's swimming teams fell to conference-foe Baruch College Monday evening. The women lost by a score of 105-43, while the men were defeated 107-49.
Baruch controlled the meet from the beginning, winning all but one race. The lone winner for York came on the men's side where Juan Recinos bested three other competitors in the 50-freestyle.
With the loss, the women fall to 0-4, 0-2 in the CUNYAC, while the men drop to 1-2, 1-1 in the CUNYAC. The women will return to action on December 2nd when they visit Sarah Lawrence College. The men will be idle until after the new year, when they travel to Mount Saint Vincent on January 4th.
