Senior guard Karen Bellamy had a superb month of November, proving she is a threat with the ball in her hands. She is leading her team in scoring averaging 18.8 points, which places her 4th in the CUNY Athletic Conference in points per game; while also leading her team and the entire CUNY Conference in assists with 5.5 assists per game.

Her best effort was a spectacular near triple-double performance with 38 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists rewarding the York women’s basketball team their first win of the season on November 21. She had another spectacular double-double performance against St. Joseph’s College with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two assists in a losing effort. On the season, as of November 28, Bellamy is averaging a team-best 18.8 points per game; a team-best in assists with 5.5 per game, a team-best in rebounds with 6.8 per game and is leading the Cardinals in minutes played, averaging 35.3 per game over four games in the month of November.Â
