Andre Adelson had a strong opening month to the men’s soccer season, leading the Cardinals in goals with five and leading the CUNY Athletic Conference in game-winning goals with three.
In York’s match against Old Westbury on September 12th, Adelson led the Cardinals to their first victory of the season, scoring two goals, including the eventual game winner. Andre scored game-winning goals against Sarah Lawrence on September 15th, and against the City College of New York on September 20th.
His performance against Old Westbury didn’t go unnoticed, as he was named the CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of 9/8-9/14.
