York College senior Bryan Williams had an outstanding month of March for the men’s volleyball team, leading in kills with 2.86 per set and contributing on the defensive end with 1.77 digs per set. He was a big part of their team success, helping York win seven matches during this period.
Some of Williams’ biggest matches came towards the middle of the month, against teams like Kean University, Brooklyn College and CCNY. Against #13 Kean, Williams contributed 21 kills (.311) and 12 digs. In their matchup with Brooklyn College he had 15 kills and 11 digs, and against CCNY he picked up 18 kills and 12 digs. Williams was also able to set a new career-high in blocks during this period, after he picked up seven against Johnson & Wales.
