Edner Geffrard has a great month for the York College men’s volleyball team, leading the team in digs per set (2.00), finishing second in kills per set (2.53) and helping the Cardinals win seven matches in the month of March.
Edner had some huge performances and amazing stat lines in matches against some of York’s toughest opponents, picking up double-digit kills in six matches and double-digit digs in five matches during this period.
Geffrard was able to set new season-highs in a few categories, including kills (21 against Kean University) and blocks (7 against Brooklyn), as well as one new career-high in digs (21 against Brooklyn). Thanks to his outstanding effort over this period, Geffrard was also awarded the CUNYAC Player of the Week award.
