Getting To Know Jaylene
I Chose York Because: The school gave me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love while also focusing on my education. Playing softball is important to me and York felt like the right place for me because of the team, the welcoming environment, supportive community, and the opportunities it offers my future.
Favorite Part About York College: I like that some professors and staff are very understanding. They recognize that students have a lot going on and are willing to listen and help when it’s needed.
Dream Job: Psychiatric nurse practitioner
Superstitions: Some superstitions I have is splitting the pole, breaking or looking
into a broken mirror, and walking under ladders. I was told when I was younger that all
of these things bring bad luck and to say bread and butter if you do any of these things
because it will bring bad luck.
