Nathan Reeves

Nathan Reeves joined the York College men’s basketball coaching staff in 1998 following a stellar three-year career as a player at York.

One of just two men to have their number retired at York, Reeves is considered one of the best athletes to ever play at York.  A point guard, Reeves has the eighth highest career assist average in NCAA Division III history, averaging 7.1 assists per game during his tenure.

In 1997, Reeves was named an NABC All-American after averaging 15.3 points and 8.4 assists per game.   York won 21 games that season and went on to win the CUNY Athletic Conference title.

Reeves has been a part of every men’s basketball conference championship at York.  After winning the title in 1997 as a player, he came on as a coach in 1998 and would later help York to conference titles in 2006, 2007 and 2014.
