www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's tennis picked up wins in singles and doubles play Wednesday but was unable to carry the momentum, falling 6-1 to the St. Joseph's University (L.I.) Golden Eagles (2-7) in a non-conference road matchup at the St. Joseph's Outdoor Field Complex.
- Altenor Molien and Gabriela Pirondi teamed up for the first time, earning a 6-4 win over Chris Lally and Vincent Engel at the No. 1 doubles level.
- Pirondi continued momentum in singles play, claiming her third career victory as a member of the men's tennis squad, and the first on the No. 3 court.
- Molien continued play on the No. 1 court, collecting two games.
- Oscar Leyva, competing at fourth singles for the second time this season, also generated two points. Franeidy Mauricio (No. 5) and Lawrence Louis (No. 6) also accumulated two games.
