Altenor Molien was named to the 2026 CUNYAC Men's Tennis Preseason Player to Watch list on Wednesday when league officials released the seven-member group. This is Molien's second straight campaign as the squad's representative.
Playing in all 11 contests for York College last campaign, the Haitian native was a fixture in the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles circuits, and played 10 singles matches at the No. 2 and No. 3 levels. Partnering with
Abubakar Khamis on the No. 2 court, Molien notched his first doubles victory (8-7, (7-3)) against Brooklyn College last April. The third-year star also added to his singles account with a triumph over Lehman College (Apr. 3) on the No. 3 court.

Baruch College tops the charts with 36 points and six first-place votes, and Hunter College follows with 28 points and the last first-place nod. The Cardinals are pegged as the seventh-best team in the conference and generated six points. York's season commences Thursday (Mar. 12) with a CUNYAC clash against the John Jay College Bloodhounds.
The 2026 CUNYAC Championship will take place on April 26 (semifinals) and April 30 (finals), with the league champion receiving an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
