www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's volleyball set a season-high in points, kills, assists, and aces Tuesday evening in a CUNYAC matchup against the Medgar Evers College Cougars (0-7, 0-2 CUNYAC), triumphing in four sets (25-20, 25-14, 24-26, 25-20) from Cougars Cave.
First Set Breakdown
- Three aces by Madison Plaza got the Cardinals off to a 5-1 start.
- Medgar Evers responded with five unanswered points to lead 6-5.
- An extended 9-3 spurt helped York take a five-point (14-9) edge.
- A kill by Jennifer Metra trimmed the Cougars' deficit to two (15-13).
- Chamiya Foy spiked down a kill to push the Cardinals' advantage back up to five (18-13).
- Not going away, Maritza Argueta's ace capped off a 4-0 stretch for Medgar Evers to make it 18-17.

- Lefebvre matched Plaza's 17-point tally, producing 14 kills and three aces. She also contributed defensively with nine digs.

- Panameno distributed a career-high 28 assists.
- Foy and Simranjit Kaur each recorded four kills.
