www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's soccer continued its home slate Monday afternoon with a non-conference matchup against the Pratt Institute Cannoneers (3-2-1), falling 9-0 from York College Outdoor Athletic Complex.
First-Half Breakdown
Alyssa Trujillo put the Cannoneers up 1-0 after 83 seconds, after rebounding home a shot from Emma Pratt. Chloe Tien doubled the lead in the 10th minute with a well-placed finish in the bottom corner. Tien made it 3-0 at the 11:09 mark and completed her hat-trick five minutes later after tapping the ball home from an Emma Nolan cutback. Claire Hook made a name for herself in the stanza, netting the next three goals to push the edge to seven by the 37th minute. Goals by Nolan and Emma Pratt closed out the 9-0 first-half scoreline.
Second-Half Breakdown
As the Cannoneers searched for more goals, the combination of York's defense and goalkeeper
Amaniya Aiken (1-4) stood strong, conceding zero goals. Aiken secured eight of her 16 saves in the frame, bringing her five-match total to 79.

Beyond the final score, Pratt registered 43 shots, 26 shots on goal, and took five corner kicks. In net, Emma Gaspari (3-1) and Savannah DePaz pitched the shutout.
