www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's volleyball closed out their 2025 regular season Thursday evening in an offensive masterpiece against the Medgar Evers College Cougars (0-18, 0-14 CUNYAC), posting a season-best 29 kills in a straight-set triumph (25-10, 25-10, 25-5) from Cougars Cave. Â
The victory added to York's five league wins, securing the No. 6 seed for next week's CUNYAC Championship. The Cardinals will travel to take on the third-seeded Brooklyn College Bulldogs (13-14, 9-5 CUNYAC) on Tuesday (Apr. 8) at 6 p.m. inside the West Quad Center Gymnasium. York (7-15, 5-9 CUNYAC) returns to the postseason for the first time since 2016, when the team made a run to the semifinals.

- Heyliger, Jr. dominated proceedings with match-bests in kills (13) and digs (5). The senior also served up eight aces.
- Adegboye turned in a career-best nine aces to go along with four kills.
- Gomez orchestrated an all-around match with five kills, five aces, and six assists.Â
- Ramirez (4) and McIntosh (3) combined for seven aces.
- Stanley Sanchez added 22 dimes to his ledger.
For Medgar Evers
- Fraser, Malik Williams, and Jose Janvier each recorded one kill.
- Janvier and Fraser had the Cougars' only aces.
- Taosif Elahi contributed two assists.
- Shabbir Ahmed scooped up a team-leading four digs.
