Michael Zhang was chosen Monday as the CUNYAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Honorable Mention laurel for meets ran Feb. 17-23. This award is Zhang's first career CUNYAC weekly honor and the program's second of the campaign, following
Richard Reyes' selection
two weeks ago.
Competing at the West Point Tune Up (Feb. 22), Zhang produced solid times in the 800-meter and mile categories. The 800-meter result of 2:25.49 placed 18th, and his season-best mile score of 5:23.08 ranked 21st in the weekend meet. According to the 2025 CUNYAC Indoor Performance List, those times were good for eighth and 10th respectively.
