www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's soccer gave the Hunter College Hawks (4-5-3, 1-1-2 CUNYAC) a second-half scare with a pair of goals, but ultimately fell 7-2 in Saturday's CUNYAC road matchup from Randall's Island (Field 75).
First-Half Breakdown
Hunter jumped ahead early with a goal in the eighth minute and doubled its advantage when Bejhon Alerte scored at 23:42.
Jason Valeriano created York's first shot opportunity in the 27th minute, but his effort was saved by Hunter's goalkeeper Max Tsigalnitsky (3-3-2). Goals from Fernando Zuvela and David Zlobinsky pushed Hunter's advantage to 4-0 before halftime.

Jamar Johnson's goal at the 80:34 mark. Patrick Irving dented the comeback hopes, netting in the 85th minute to push the margin to three (5-2). Before the final whistle, strikes by Abdullah Al Maghrabi and Saleel Eldin finalized the 7-2 result.
