www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's soccer continued their road schedule Saturday afternoon against the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions (5-4), falling 9-0 from Abington's Memorial Field.
First-Half Breakdown
The Nittany Lions took a quick 2-0 lead after seven minutes. Amanda Armstrong found the net at the 6:26 mark, and Madison McDowell got the second 30 seconds later. Kaitlyn Frank scored the third goal for Penn State Abington in the ninth minute. Keeping the Nittany Lions at bay for over twenty minutes, Meghan McGinly made it 4-0 in the 31st minute. Turning on the jets, McDowell grabbed two more goals in the next seven minutes to complete her hat trick. Giavonna Rebilas scored a seventh goal at the 38:47 mark, and McGinky concluded the first-half scoring in the 40th minute, as the Nittany Lions took an 8-0 advantage into intermission.
Second-Half Breakdown
McDowell grabbed her fourth of the game with under three minutes left, finalizing a 9-0 scoreline for Abington.

The Nittany-Lions dominated offensively, totaling 41 shots and 21 shots on target. Abby Brunnell (2-2) kept a clean sheet for Abington, while
