www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis returned to play Tuesday afternoon against the John Jay College Bloodhounds (2-2, 1-1 CUNYAC), falling 9-0 in a CUNYAC matchup from York College Courts.
The duo of
Maryam Khan and
Franeidy Mauricio gained four games on the No. 2 doubles court against John Jay's Kayla Saintard and Manuela Orrego.
Dawa Bhote put in a solid display in only her second career match on the No. 2 singles court, winning a total of six games and pushing the second set to 7-5. In her second consecutive match on the No. 1 court,
Bisola Babanumi gained three games against Sarina Moi. Khan gained four games on the No. 4 court, and
Seunga Jeong won a career-best two games on the No. 5 court.
