www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis opened the season Thursday afternoon with a CUNYAC battle against the Lehman College Lightning (2-4, 1-1 CUNYAC), falling 9-0 from York College Courts.
The duo of
Maryam Khan and
Seunga Jeong went into a tiebreaker against Lehman's Shelby Gonzalez and Stephanie Pena on the No. 3 doubles court. Making her York debut,
Franeidy Mauricio picked up six games across two sets on the No. 4 court.
Julia Wyman generated two games on No. 6 singles.
