www.YORKATHLETICS.com)Â York College competed Saturday at the 2024 CUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 10 medals from Icahn Stadium. The Cardinals placed fifth with 47 points in the men's meet as the women tallied 40 points on their way to a fourth-place result. York compiled five medals in both the men's and women's meet.Â

Men's Performance Breakdown
- Marvin Mondesir accumulated eight points in the 100-meter dash finals, crossing the finish line with a career-best 11.77 result (2nd place). Â
- Kervin Mondesir authored a career-high time of 24.59 in the 200-meter event.
- Glenver Stuart paced the field in the 800-meter event, winning gold with a season-high time of 2:08.68. This was three milliseconds off his career-high speed of 2:08.65. He also added one point with a 400-meter dash finish of 55.06 (6th place).
- Michael Zhang accumulated 14 points in the distance races, coming in second position in the 5,000-meter race (20:02.82, 8 points) and claiming six points with a finish of 40:46.44 in the 10,000-meter event.
- Stephen Ulysse closed out the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-record time of 1:07.48 (5th place), good enough for two points Â
- Austinson Cooke led the squad with a 5.21-meter long jump distance, with Ulysse reaching 4.79 meters and Bryan Ortiz 4.43 meters.Â
- Ahmed Algendy recorded a personal-best throw of 10.29 meters (2 points, 5th place) in the shot put, and George Molina tossed a 7.14 meter mark.
- The combination of Marvin Mondesir, Cooke, Ulysse, and Stuart collected four points (47.67, 4th place) in the 4x100-meter relay and six points (3:45.81, 3rd place) in the 4x400-meter relay. Both these scores were season highs for this quartet.Â

Women's Performance Breakdown
- Katryna Francois stole the show with first-place medals in the 200-meter dash (27.81) and the 400-meter event (1:04.15). Her result in the 400-meter is a personal record. Francois also placed third in the 100-meter sprint at 13.59 to collect six points.Â
- Imani Gibson also made the finals of the 100-meter dash, clocking in at a career-best result of 14.13.
- Keanna Clouden tossed the Javelin a career-long 10.20 meters to finish 12th.Â
- The quartet of Gibson, Peta-Gay Hunter, Francois, and Clouden combined for season-high results in the 4x100-meter relay (56.44, 3rd) and the 4x400-meter relay (5:05.83, 2nd). They generated six and eight points from those two races.
