www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's soccer completed a two-match home stretch Wednesday afternoon, falling 6-0 in a CUNYAC effort against the Hunter College Athletics (3-10-1, 1-2 CUNYAC) from York College Outdoor Athletic Complex.
First-Half Breakdown
In the opening 10 minutes, Hunter's Kenneth Ortiz cannonned the woodwork, and
Abdul Seck had two shots on goal for the Cardinals. Bradley Espejo got the Hawks on the board in the 11th minute after slotting home a pass from Kevin Velez. Ben Avakook doubled Hunter's lead at the 14:51 mark, with Velez recording another assist. York goalkeeper
George Molina made five saves in the following 30 minutes to keep the scoreline at 2-0. The Hawks had a chance to push the advantage to 3-0, but Espejo missed a penalty with three minutes remaining.
Second-Half Breakdown
Espejo recorded his brace 2:12 into the period to give Hunter a 3-0 edge. Saleel Eldin added another goal 67 seconds later. Ahmed Abukar put the Hawks up 5-0 at the 69:02 mark after tapping one into an empty net. Rafael Villacares slotted one home 81 seconds from the full-time whistle to finalize the 6-0 scoreline.

Hunter owned the advantage in shots (41-12), shots on goal (6-5), and corners (8-1). In between the sticks, Molina (1-6-1) totaled 10 saves, while Hawk netminder Matthew Heimowitz (0-6-1) turned away five shots for the clean sheet.
