www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's tennis returned to the court Friday following last week's return to CUNYAC Championship play for the first time since 2016 as the Cardinals traveled to take on the Saint Elizabeth University Eagles (3-10) from SEU Tennis Courts.
Despite falling 8-1 in the non-conference encounter, York claimed victory in No. 3 doubles for the fourth time this season. York's duo of
Shavar Rowe and
Abimael Deliska picked up their second win of the season against Saint Elizabeth's Zavier Bell and Jeremiah Boger with an 8-2 triumph. Rowe and Deliska's four wins in doubles play marked the program's highest total since 2014, when Hasnain Khatri and Haseeb Raza secured four wins in No. 1 position.
