Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

@yorkcardinals Women’s Basketball plays Manhattanville close in opener

York College remains on the road Saturday (Nov. 12) with a non-conference showdown against Sarah Lawrence College

PURCHASE, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's basketball opened the 2022-23 season with a highly contested 60-53 road loss Wednesday evening against the Manhattanville College Valiants (1-0) in a non-conference affair inside Kennedy Gym.

"We show spurts of a great defensive team but we are not consistent. We need to lock in defensively for an entire game and be more patient and poised on offense to limit turnovers. We were often stagnant on offense and need to create more movement which will create more assists."-said head coach Kimani jackson
