www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis closed out their fall schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a CUNYAC matchup on the road against the Lehman College Lightning (2-9, 0-4 CUNYAC) from APEX Tennis Courts.
In the 8-1 fall finale loss at Lehman, York earned the win at No. 3 doubles for the second-straight match as
Jamelia Jordan and
Maira Zapata led the charge with an 8-7 triumph against Effie Pang and Ann Marie Baliong. At No. 2 doubles,
Kacey Clarke and
Monique James took one game in an 8-1 setback.
Geraldine Guese battled at the No. 1 singles slot by winning five games in a 6-2, 6-3 defeat. Jordan won three games at No. 6 singles while James (No. 5 singles) and
Alyssa King (No. 3 singles) each won one game in their respective matches.
