JAMAICA, NY --- (
www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball raced out to a double-digit lead Friday evening but were unable to hold on as the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (8-9, 5-2 CUNYAC) prevailed with a 64-55 CUNYAC win on NABC Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers Night inside York College Gymnasium.
Coaching staff from both teams joined together for a pre-game photo before York held a moment of silence in which "I Honor" cards were held to recognize all of those who have been and continue to be impacted by cancer. The moment served as a reminder that we can and we will defeat this disease.

In addition to raising awareness, all contributions through York's online Suits & Sneakers page (
