Jamaica, N.Y.—The York College Men's Volleyball team lost to Yeshiva University three sets to zero (13-25,15-25,24-26) on Sunday March 17
that home in the York College Gymnasium.
The Cardinals displayed strong efforts in the final set of the match. It would not hold as Yeshiva outplayed them and took home a road win.
For the visiting Maccabees, Yosef Ajami had nine kills. His teammates Chaim Aryeh had seven kills and Isaac Pomerance had twenty-three assists.
Despite losing, York Players
Akil Vaughn had nine kills,
Juan Rodriguez with 10 assists and
Philton Paul collected nine digs.
The Cardinals drop to 2-16 overall as Yeshiva improved to 4-6.
