JAMAICA, N.Y.—York lost a tough home game against Purchase on Tuesday by a score of 3-0 (25-11, 25-9, 25-10).
 
Cardinals Freshman Kiara Gonzalez (Puerto Rico/Northside HS) led the team with two kills and Junior Chayana Jimenez (Dominican Republic/Gregorio Luperon) had seven digs. The Panthers Joetta Francis ended the game with six kills and Karina Medina had twelve assists
 
The York College Cardinals battled throughout all three sets before the Purchase Panthers pulled away with big scoring runs to close out each set.

The Cardinals will be away for a CUNYAC conference game on Thursday, 5:00 pm vs Lehman College.
