After the weather forced the postponement of its first three matches, the York College men's tennis team finally got its season underway on Saturday. Unfortunately, York ran into a tough Hunter College team and lost by a score of 8-1.
York's
Ralph Ramos picked up York's only win, defeating Hunter's Kyle Burrus, 6-3, 6-0 at #6 singles. Ramos and
Rahim Houston also played a tough match at #3 singles, but ultimately fell short by a score of 8-5.
The Cardinals will now be idle until April 4 when they visit the College of Staten Island at 12 p.m.
