Jamaica, NY--- The York College Women's Basketball team lost their first home game of this season vs Ramapo College by a score of 49-39.
During the first quarter the Lady Cardinals would have a 5 point lead but it would quickly be closed off by the Roadrunners and would finish the quarter with a 10-7 lead. By half time Ramapo College would have a 19-17 lead. The third quarter ended with the Lady Cardinals being up by 1 point. During the fourth and final quarter, it seemed like a close game with the score being tied up at 36. The roadrunners would eventually score 10 points and the final for this game would end being 49-39 in favor of the visiting Ramapo College. This would end York Women's Basketball home unbeaten streak.
Mac-Dege Dessources had another standout performance with 10 points and career high 34 rebounds. That is her 7th double-double in her rookie season. For Ramapo, Samantha Rinaldi contributed 19 points with four - three pointers in the game.
The Lady Cardinals next game will be on December 30th vs Stockton University in the York College Gym.
